Callie & Eric are married!!! 12/20/08

Eric and Callie got married at an amazingly beautiful church located in Woodstock, GA.  This Christmas wedding was back-dropped with all the decorations to make any bride's dream come true.  For me, I truly enjoyed shooting this wedding because I was helping to capture a friend's special day.  Eric and I grew up in church together and I have gone to church camps and many other things with all his groom's men.  I met Callie and the engagement shoot a few months before and had a great time getting to know her better.

Here are a few shots from the day, to start I have some getting ready pictures:

Callie really let loose on this picture, we pulled her train up behind her as a back-drop and the rest is just part of the picture:

This one is my favorite, I just love the way the train comes all the way to the foreground with the cross glowing in the background.

The reception was beautiful, a sit-down dinner followed by dancing and a grand exit!

Jake at 7 days!

Little Jake was just 7 days when I showed up to get some pictures of him.  This was my first baby shoot, and it was much different than I thought.  He basically slept the entire time.  But it created a good challenge for me to find creative shots of him with him sleeping.  My favorite part was every time my flash would go off, he would wake up and give me this mean look and then immediately go back to sleep.  But Jake was just a great baby, and I hope I was able to capture that "new baby" look that he will soon outgrow.

Woodman Engagement!!!

This was a shoot back in November that I'm just posting.  We did this shoot over Thankgiving break at the Marietta Square.  What a perfect atmosphere for pictures.  I've known Brandon for many years and I met Lucy about a year ago.  Brandon and I have had some fun adventures together and this will go down as another.  They are such a fun couple, I think we spent more time laughing than doing anything.

There were so many great places to shoot at the square I think I could have taken pictures all day, Brandon finally said they were tired of smiling.  Below are a few from the day...
