Scott and Lindsay are engaged 10-19-08

Scott and Lindsay were such a fun couple to photograph.  I've worked with Scott for 2 years at my current job at Fairway Outdoor, and I've met Lindsay on several occasions, so this was more of a hangout with me taking pictures the whole time.  They are just the cutest couple, laughing with each other and not afraid to show the world how much they love each other, even in front of a co-worker. 

 

This shoot was located in Athens on the UGA campus at north campus.  Both Scott and Lindsay are huge UGA fans, which I don't hold against them, and so this location was a no-brainer for them.  We basically got out and walked around, taking pictures just about anywhere around campus.  Here is a small sample:

Eric & Callie are engaged!! 10-12-08

I met Eric and Callie at the beautiful Staghorn Chapel located just north above Athens. I had a lot of fun with this couple, the excitement towards their upcoming wedding is really showing on their faces. I've had the pleasure of knowing Eric since childhood, we grew up attending church together, so the shoot was a little reunion in itself, but also a great opportunity for me to get to know Callie.

We had a lot of fun at the shoot, we really covered the grounds, I let them be very natural while I just circled around capturing their personalities. We ended the Sunday afternoon with a picnic and some great cookies!!

Congrats you two, I really look forward to your wedding in December!!

Amy & Brad are married!! 10-4-08

This was such a beautiful destination wedding, located in Destin, FL. I could not have asked for better weather or a better couple to work with. Amy and Brad were just full of excitement, from the rehearsal dinner, which was amazing, to the ceremony, and then to one of the craziest receptions I've ever been to. Congratulation and good luck with your marriage!!

Below is a walk through the wedding day: we started with a car ride to a remote beach where we captured some great beach and ocean pictures. The ceremony was back-dropped by the ocean and finished with a beautiful sunset. And just a short walk from the ceremony, was the reception, filled with dancing, chair lifting, and just all around great times.

South America Trip 03/2008

Well....I'm pretty late on uploading pictures from this trip, but I figure it better late than never. Here are a few pics from a trip I took with a buddy, we visited Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, and Uruguay. The culture down there was amazing, the people are so full of life and were really fun to just sit back and watch. The food was probably the highlight of the trip, I ate very well for incredibly cheap. It was a great trip and definitely an area I would like to visit again someday.

I caught this picture in Uruguay, this young man was just leaning against the wall looking very sad, I snapped it as we walked by, the contrast on the wall and street worked out so beautifully.
This picture was probably my favorite from the trip, it was taken in Ushuaia, which is a pretty old and poor city, but is backdropped by the Patagonia Mountains. This was taken on a boat ride through the Antarctic Channel, this island seems to be a hotspot for seals and penguins.
There was a festival of some sort in Buenos Aires, these guys were highly energetic and really fun to watch as they walked down the street.

David & Bridget are married! 9/27/08

This was a beautiful wedding located in the north GA mountains in Helen, GA. The couple was just shining with excitement the entire day. We started with some 'hangout' time in each of their log cabins, had a simple yet gorgeous ceremony in the local chapel, and then the party began at the reception hall.
